BARBECUE CONTEST: Bessinger's Barbeque has extended the deadline for entries in its "Raising the 'Bar' in Barbeque" contest until April 28. Participants can submit their own recipes featuring Bessinger's signature sauces or the barbeque rub, or a combination of both online at www.bessingersbbq.com or by mail to Bessinger's Barbeque, 1602 Savannah Highway, Charleston, SC 29407.
